ILC Tokyo Event

The middle day of the ALCW2015, Wednesday 22 April, will be a special day, held in Tokyo.

Discussions whether Japan would host the International Linear Collider Project are ongoing at government level, and the Asian Linear Collider Workshop happens at a critical time. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the LCC management and AAA (Advanced Accelerator Association promoting science and technology, Japan’s industry-academia collaboration) are co-organizing two special events in Tokyo on that day.

This Tokyo event will not only be open for the ALCW participants, but for anybody who is interested in the development of the linear collider project.

The Tokyo Symposium :

The ILC, a planned international project to explore the frontiers of particle physics, will have strong and lasting influences on science, technology and international relations. At this special symposium, you can catch the latest news about moves towards the realization of the ILC with invited speakers from various fields.

The symposium will give you an update of and insight in the development of the ILC project in Japan.
